Lushlake Atelier

Quiet craft.
Enduring tools.

Lushlake Atelier began in a small studio overlooking the Øresund. We design and produce wax seals, brass dies, and finishing tools that feel precise in the hand and beautiful on paper.

OUR WHY

Mission

We exist to preserve the quiet ritual of sealing. Every piece we make honors the hand that holds it and the paper it meets. We reject mass production and refuse shortcuts. Our seals are made to last generations — not seasons.
HOW WE WORK

Process

1. Material selection

Only FSC-certified hardwoods and solid brass meet our standards. Each block is hand-inspected before machining.

2. Precision machining

Dies are milled to 0.01 mm tolerance. Handles are turned on traditional lathes and finished with natural oils.

3. Hand finishing & testing

Every seal is tested with our proprietary wax blend. We stamp, inspect, and pack each piece ourselves.

RESPONSIBILITY

Sustainability

We source exclusively from certified forests. Our wax is a blend of natural resins and mineral pigments — no petroleum, no microplastics. Packaging is 100 % paper and cardboard, printed with vegetable inks. Every offcut is recycled or repurposed in the studio.
